Canada and the EU have scored the highest marks in terms of overall compliance to the commitments made at last summer's G8 Summit in Muskoka, Ontario, according the recently-released Interim Compliance Report.
For the report, 18 priority commitments were selected from the 73 commitments made at the Muskoka Summit, hosted by Canada in June 2010.
The report looks at commitments made to improve health care funding, climate change, terrorism, natural disasters, trade and development.
The next summit will be held in Deauville, France in May.
Each year since 1996, the G8 Research Group (based at the University of Toronto) has produced a compliance report on the progress made by the G8 member countries in meeting their commitments made at the previous summit.
